Memorial of Silence (2012)

In 2012, Pavel Štingl initiated the founding of the non-profit Prague Holocaust Memorial association, whose main purpose is to convert Bubny train station into a MEMORIAL OF SILENCE – a modern venue for discussing the timeless stigmas of modern history.

The project was first presented to the public at its first exhibition, Kaddish, in June 2013. Since 2013, the organization has been working on the architectural design documents for the station's renovation. A building permit was issued in 2015, and we are also working on a script for the permanent exhibition and on a new educational concept.

Communication with the public is maintained through cultural events and educational programs.
